Our Emergency Education program equips families with the vital knowledge, checklists, and planning tools needed to face local threats like hurricanes and wildfires with confidence. By teaching community members how to build 72-hour emergency kits, establish foolproof family evacuation plans, and stay connected during power outages, we turn fear into actionable readiness. Preparedness saves lives, and together, we can ensure our neighborhood is resilient, informed, and ready for whatever tomorrow brings.
Providing Emergancy Relief
When the storm passes, Kindness Changes Everything is on the ground to help our community stabilize, clean up, and rebuild. In the immediate aftermath of a hurricane, our teams deploy through out the community to distribute critical essentials, including fresh drinking water, hot meals, and emergency supplies directly to affected neighborhoods. As the initial crisis subsides, we transition into long-term recovery and support by providing residents with cleanup tools, tarps, and heavy-duty supplies, along with helping the community find resources available to help secure rebuilding aid.
